BIBLICAL TEACHING

1. Why should I tithe?
Tithing helps you prioritize God, express gratitude, and support Bethel’s mission.

2. How Is My Tithe Used?
Your tithe supports outreach, discipleship, and operational needs.

3. What If I’m Facing Financial Challenges?
Start where you can. Take our True Financial Freedom class to help you manage your finances.

4. Do I tithe on net or gross income?
Tithe on gross income (see Malachi 3:10).

5. Is giving a salvation issue?
No! Your salvation was bought with the blood of Jesus Christ. Tithing is not a salvation issue. It is an issue of obedience and blessing. “Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” (2 Corinthians 9:6-7)

6. Did Jesus talk about the tithe?
Jesus said, “Give to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s.” (Matthew 22:21) He encouraged us, “…give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.” (Luke 6:38)

7. How Do I Start?
You can give online or in person.

All that we have comes from God and is his. We give and love because he first loved us!
