FPM is a unique, nonprofit partnership of ministries dedicated to providing individuals and families with a path to sound biblical stewardship through their estate plans.
FPM hosts 90-minute presentations that provide clear and accurate information that cuts through the misinformation and helps people avoid unnecessary and costly mistakes in securing their loved one’s future.
Researchers say that 60–65% of people across the country and in churches don’t have an estate plan. Of the 35% or so who do, only 9% leave charitable gifts. Of that, only 4% are to faith-based organizations.
FPM not only provides a way for you to set up an estate plan without any out-of-pocket cost, but it also promotes stewardship. The Bible has a lot to say about generosity and FPM helps walk you through how to be generous in your legacy. Churches and other charitable organizations are included in 96% of the estate plans created through FPM.
Who Is This For?
In short, it’s for you! Whether you’re single, newly married, having your first child, facing chronic illness, or whatever season of life you find yourself in.
FPM serves over 100 ministry partners and their community of members who are all part of God’s Kingdom: Christian churches, universities, evangelistic associations, funding and lending institutions, missionary organizations, retirement homes, and youth camps.
Through the promotion of Christ-centered stewardship and responsible estate planning, millions of dollars have been saved from probate, and over one billion dollars have been directed to Christian charities through planned giving.
“Barry and I scribbled down a will before going on the mission field in 2015, but we knew we needed to do more. We just didn’t feel confident about what steps to take to move the ball down the field. So, when we heard about the Financial Planning Ministry seminar, we jumped at the opportunity and were not disappointed. Not only was the workshop incredibly educational, but we also have an appointment with Clay from FPM to start taking our next steps. And did I mention it’s all free? I’m so thankful for Bethel and the Stewardship team for bringing FPM to Bethel. It’s been such a blessing to us, as I’m sure it will be for so many more Bethel families.”
