WORSHIP

Bethel Worship Department is committed to establishing the kingdom of God through music with a heart of worship and a hand of excellence. We aim to create an environment where hope, healing, and deliverance can take place by actively engaging the presence of God. It’s our desire to teach believers to expressively worship in Spirit and Truth during worship services, that it would carry into their daily lives pointing others toward Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

How it Works

  • Choir sings every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month.
  • Choir rehearsal is every Thursday night from 6-8:30 PM.
  • Band practices every Thursday night from 6-9:00 PM.
  • Band members rotate throughout the month in serving on Wednesdays and Sundays.

WHAT IS WORSHIP?

“The fuel of worship is the grand truth of a gracious and sovereign God; the fire that makes the fuel burn white hot is the quickening of the Holy Spirit; the furnace made alive and warm by the flame of truth is our renewed spirit; and the resulting heat of our affections is worship, pushing its way out in tears, confessions, prayers, praises, acclamations, lifting of hands, bowing low, and obedient lives. The work of God is to seek real worshipers. Jesus was sent to accomplish this work.”

Dr. Abby Burke, D. Div | Worship Team, Vocals

“Worship, in its simplest form, is an expression of giving honor, adoration, and reverence to God. But the experience of worship is so much more than that; The definition does not take into account God’s response to those that worship him. When we honor and adore God with a sincere heart, we are drawn into the warmth of his presence… And a few moments in his presence can transform your world. For me, those intimate moments have provided strength, joy, forgiveness, conviction, clarity, direction, purpose, and revelation. I also believe that worship should be a lifestyle and not limited to a time or place. Let all that we say and do bring honor, glory, and adoration to a worthy and faithful God.”
